Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Founded by medical and clinical psychology students, Our Health Impact delivers free, evidence-based health education and hands-on exposure to healthcare for youth in underserved Montreal communities. We turn confusion into clarity, sharing practical tools for physical and mental well-being while opening real pathways into medicine, psychology, and allied health.

Our Story

We started as students who kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant, resilient kids shut out of health information and health careers simply because no one ever opened the door. So we built one.

From classroom floors to community centers, we listened first. We heard worries about mental health, questions about bodies and illness, and dreams of becoming doctors, therapists, and researchers. Then we got to work, bringing suturing kits, role-play simulations, sleep and stress workshops, short videos, and trusted voices who look like the youth we serve.

Every session we run is a promise: your questions matter, your health matters, and your future in healthcare is possible. Our story is still being written by every student who leaves a workshop a little more informed, a little more confident, and a lot more certain that they belong.
